The regular Wii and the Wii Fit have become huge hits with a demographic that would have never considered video games otherwise. For instance, in nursing homes many tenants are using Wii bowling because they like the sport but are no longer able to hold an actual ball.
The Nintendo Wii console is truly a break-through in the world of gaming. It shows people that video games are really for everyone. At the same time it may also get traditional gamers off of the couch and up playing games with the rest of their family. The innovative and intuitive movement system of the Nintendo Wii makes video games accessible to people of all physical and age levels.
